If you're reading this...
You're reading the wrong blog :) I started a private blog and then had to make it public again after I reached the max amount of readers for a private blog (lame). So, here I am again...but I'm at my new url. If you subscribe to this blog (or have a link to me on your blog) please change it from http://dannyandraelynn.blogspot.com to
http://ebayrae.blogspot.com.
Thanks!

I don't know why it matters if I put the new blog address on here because people won't be able to see it unless they're invited. I'm sharp, I know. Our new blog address is :
If you want to be invited--email me at ebayrae {at} gmail {dot} com.

It's not just the leaves that are changing around here
After much deliberation, I've decided to go private on this blog. Trust me, if you decide to stop reading--I totally understand. I have always been the WORST complainer when people go private. It's just more of a pain to read updates and I'm 75% less likely to read a blog that is private and that still pretty much stands true (I'm a good friend, I know). But seriously, there are a lot of reasons I've decided to go private. The 3 main ones are:
* Sometimes I want to share something but I know there are people who read this blog that would be offended if they knew they weren't invited to whatever it is I'm blogging about. It has happened before and it's just awkward for both parties. So, I have to NOT share certain things because "ghost readers" are reading and feeling bad. I don't like feeling constrained like that. I guess I'm a control freak.
* I've been converting our blog into a book, which has been SO AWESOME and while doing it, I've realized that a lot of the stuff I share doesn't need to be shared with the world (some of you are probably sighing in relief, right?) haha. I like being able to share things that will be put into a book of remembrance but I don't necessarily think everyone needs or CARES to know about it. I think I've finally come to embrace the fact that it isn't how many comments I get. It's about keeping a family history that I choose to share with close friends and family.
* I know that there are a lot of weirdos out there and even though I'm not a paranoid person at ALL, I've just taken the stance that it's always better to be safe than sorry. I'm probably not paranoid enough--so I'm making an effort to become more balanced.
I feel kind of sad because I've reconnected with a lot of friends through blogging. Most of those friends I wouldn't have found if it weren't for blog links and being able to just find a random blog through someone else's. But isn't that was Facebook is for? :) Anyway, it's just a way to sort of monitor who is reading and that will just give me a little peace of mind.
I'll do my best to invite everyone who wants an invite. I know there's a limit of 100 invitations and since I am SO popular, you might have to get on a waiting list. JOKE. The url has changed, so when you get permission to read the blog, I'll send you the new address. Also, if you have my blog listed on your links--just a friendly reminder to edit the url. Thanks!
See you on the other side.
Okay, that sounds creepy...
